Our fifth DE event of the season is at “The Glen” – Watkins Glen International. This is one of the most renowned tracks in the country and a real privilege for us to enjoy. Information on accommodations can be found on the Watkins Glen website.
We will be welcoming our friends from outside the NER/NCR regions to join us so we will have a paddock full of amazing cars and amazing drivers.

Dinner: We have had to change our plans for the catered BBQ dinner. It is no longer free (Sorry!). Details for signing up for the dinner: Registering for the DE does NOT mean you are registered for the dinner. You must register separately to attend the dinner. Registration for the dinner will be by direct link registration per the instructions in the ClubReg email titled Watkins Glen 2022 BBQ Dinner.
Dinner this year will be Friday evening, August 12th (the social starts about 5:30, dinner at 6PM) in the beautiful Watkins Glen State Park in their Iroquois Lodge. It is being catered by Dinosaur Barbecue. Everyone has loved their dinners before – they actually bring their mobile BBQ pit with them and enchant us with the aroma. The cost of the dinner (menu below) is $15 per person. There is an additional charge for parking at Watkins Glen State Park of $10 per car (not per person).
Dinner menu will include: Prime brisket, St. Louis-cut ribs, BBQ chicken quarters, Salt potatoes with Cajun garlic butter, Tomato cucumber salad, Cornbread and Double chocolate brownies.
And, beer, wine and soda are also included! All this for $15 per person.
We are limited to 120 people so sign up and pay as soon as we send the info so you don’t miss this fun time in the park. Maps for Watkins Glen State Park and Iroquois Lodge Pavilion are available at these links.
Registration for this event opened March 1st at Club Registration. This year we will have full access to the garages and surrounding paddock. Demand for the garages always greatly exceeds supply so register, reserve a garage, and pay early so you don’t end up in garage-wait-list hell.
