Come and join us again on September 16th at Alta Strada in Wellesley, MA, for an afternoon of paired Italian food and wine featuring four outstanding Italian wines hosted by Boston area connoisseur and member of the Court of Master Sommeliers Gianluca Queiroli.
Last year the team exceeded expectations with some great food and carefully chosen wines. This year, the good folks at Alta Strada will include an authentic Italian, 4-course lunch (last year it was three!), prepared by Executive Sous Chef Francisco Segura. Chef Francisco has worked under James Beard award winning Chef Michael Schlow for over 12 years in several of his companies including Via Matta, transitioning to Doretta as a sous chef, and actually trained several company chefs.
What can you expect? The team at Alta Strada, along with Gianluca, are carefully crafting and pairing each course currently. Tasting list includes:
- Feudo Maccari Rose
- Campo al Mare Vermentino
- San Guido Bordeaux Blend
- Chiarlo Moscato Nivole
Seats are limited. Ticket prices are $60, tax and gratuity included.
