The good folks at the dealership have invited the region members to a rescheduled tech session at their state of the art facility in Warwick R.I. on March 5th starting at 8am.
The three topics for the event would be discussions of:
- 9:00AM- The importance wheel balance and alignment regarding handling, safety, ride comfort, and the protection of the client’s investment in their tires and rims. It will encompass our service department facilities in providing the proper equipment and Hunter trained individuals to provide the proper technique and experience to correctly mount and balance tires and setup the vehicle’s geometry correctly.
- 9:30 AM- Hybrid vehicles and the coming electric vehicles: We will discuss our current hybrids as far as basic operation, proper charging, and current apps to monitor and maintain the vehicles state of charge.
- 10AM- Air cooled 911 maintenance : The importance of valve adjustment and proper cam timing will be discussed and demonstrated. A 1980 911 engine will be on the bench to demonstrate proper valve adjustment for the owners that wants to take care of this themselves
The event will be catered by Tom’s Market –Brunch style
