For the past 40 years, every spring the members of the Porsche Club of America Northeast Region gather for one of the region’s most anticipated traditions: The Ramble.
Held each April in a different destination throughout the Northeast, the Ramble combines spirited driving, beautiful scenery, great food, and the camaraderie that makes the Porsche community so special. From winding mountain roads and lakeside vistas to historic towns and hidden backroads, each year’s route is carefully curated to create an unforgettable driving experience.
No two Rambles are ever the same.
Each event is centered around a distinctive host hotel — from grand historic resorts to coastal retreats — serving as home base for a weekend of driving and social events. The weekend typically includes:
- Friday evening cocktail hour and welcome gathering
- Saturday breakfast before departure
- A fully curated scenic drive route
- A surprise lunch destination revealed along the route
- Three course meal back at the host hotel Saturday evening
- Social time with fellow Porsche enthusiasts throughout the weekend

The Ramble welcomes a wide variety of Porsche models and members from across the region, all brought together by a shared love of driving and exploration.
The event has become one of NER’s signature weekends, regularly drawing hundreds of participants. In 2026, the Ramble at The Sagamore Resort welcomed 320 attendees and 173 cars — selling out in a single day.
Because of the event’s popularity, registration typically opens well in advance and fills quickly.
Each year’s Ramble location, hotel, and route are announced separately, so stay tuned for upcoming destinations and registration information.
In 2027 the 41st NER Ramble will be at the Newport Harbor Island Hotel in Newport, RI April 23-25. Tickets on sale in January! Sign up for our newsletter to keep up to date on all Ramble news!
