Join for us a visit to one of the North of Boston’s hidden gems, Notch Brewing Salem MA
Launched in 2010, Notch Brewing – named for the nick made to keep record when you’re having more than one – was the first brewing company in the U.S. to focus exclusively on session beer, which only has 4.5% alcohol or less. These lower alcohol beers, based on classic session styles from the Czech Republic, Germany, England, and Belgium, are the perfect way to bring people together for a good time.
Notch Brewing’s taproom and biergarten is their take on a traditional Czech and German-style beer hall which makes it the perfect place to gather year-round.
In July of 2022, Notch Brewing was named Boston’s Best Brewery in Boston Magazine‘s annual Best of Boston issue.
Once we have all arrived at 2:00, we can get a beer, begin a tour of the brewery, listen to the unique history of Notch, then gather in the private meeting room for a beer and food. After that, we can have a beer, and possibly create our own skee-ball tournament. Yes, they have an actual skee-ball machine! Oh, did I mention beer? Price is $25/ticket which includes 1 complementary beer (non-alcoholic drinks available) and various Notch “beer food” and some local fare.
