Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park

Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park, often called Thompson or TSMP, is a fantastic track located at the norther border of Connecticut.  This track, once known as the Indianapolis of the East, is famed for having the first asphalt paved oval racing track in the US, built in 1938.  The road course where we hold our HPDE events was repaved and reopened in 2014, with eleven turns featuring hairpins, long sweepers, and some interesting camber and elevation changes that make driving this track challenging and exhilliarating.  We typically hold our season opener at Thompson, and it’s a great place to get kick things off!
